May 2021 Update: Allergies, Field Trips & COVID Update

Posted on May 4, 2021 by Ladybug Child Care Center

Flowers in a field of tall green grass.

April showers bring May flowers, but what do May flowers bring?

Allergies.

Allergies can be rough starting this time of the year, so just a helpful reminder to stock up on allergy medications that you and your little bugs need for the next few months.

Speaking of the time of the year, can you believe it’s already May? Wow, the spring sure flies by in a hurry! Before you know it, the weather will be consistently warm and summer will be here. You know what that means … it’s time to start preparing for field trips!

Summer Field Trip Packets & Calendars

Field trip packets and calendars were sent out recently through the Tadpole App, but you can also find the calendars here. Please fill out your paperwork and submit it to us as soon as possible!

It’s important to note that, while staff members and many others in Minnesota have already been vaccinated, we’ll take every precaution to guarantee our field trips are as safe as possible.

During the field trips, we’ll keep everyone in small groups and ensure everything is in-house with COVID-safe activities.

COVID-19 Update

Our team is continuing to hold daily COVID meetings at 8:30 am. Lately, we’ve been brainstorming and collaborating to find the safest ways to get parents back for in-person meetings with their classroom teachers.

Please trust that we’re working diligently to find the best possible solution we can get implemented within the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more information and a roll-out plan very soon!

If you have any questions, concerns, or comments feel free to reach out to one of our staff or managers or we can also be reached at mkraus@ladybugcc.com or skraus@ladybugcc.com. Thank you for being a part of our Ladybug family!
