My name is Amber Reid, and I am the Playroom teacher!
When I started at Ladybug 8 years ago I was an aide in preschool! It’s true when they say “Time flies when you’re having fun!”
I graduated from Lester Prairie Highschool in 2009, attended Rasmussen College and graduated with a certificate in Early childhood education. I reside in Lester Prairie with my husband, 4 year old daughter and dog.
In my spare time I like to camp (tent and cabin) , spend time with family, whether it be a relaxing day at home or finding a new place for our daughter to enjoy, and love to cook! Finding and trying new recipes is my favorite!

Personal Story:
Hello everyone, my name is Miss Meghan and I am the infant nursery teacher. When I first started at Ladybug 6 years ago I was the toddler a aide and then 3 years ago I became the infant teacher. I went to Rasmussen College for Early Childhood Education and graduated with my diploma.
I currently live in Glencoe with my boyfriend Dustin and our two children Bentley (5) and Carson (1). One thing that not a lot of people know about me is whenever my family and I go on vacation to different states I always go on ghost tours or historic tours of the town. I am really fascinated with ghost hunting and the history behind the town.

I have been working at Ladybug Child Care Center since high school. I have enjoyed working a little bit in every department, but.
I enjoy spending time with my son Dakota, husband Alex, and dogs Max & Cora at home. We love going out for dinner, family time, seeing movies, shopping, firefighter events, concerts, and more.

Hello! I grew up in NY and moved to Minnesota in 2016 with my husband. I have two children- Willow and Lila. I graduated from State University of New York (SUNY Albany) in Albany. NY with a Bachelor’s in English. I worked in child care when I was in my young 20’s for a while, took a break, and got back into childcare when I moved to Minnesota. I figured a fresh start means I can do something I love! I enjoy working with children and teaching young minds. I enjoy yoga, being outdoors, and playing with my children!

I was born in Minnesota and raised in Wyoming, which is where I attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a minor in Literacy. Following graduation, I moved to Minnesota to be near family. I’ve been working with children in and out of the classroom for 12+ years, and part of the Ladybug family since 2016! I started at Ladybug as an Assistant Teacher working a lot in Preschool, Toddlers, and Proddlers. Soon after I became the Preschool Teacher!
In my spare time I enjoy relaxing and spending time with my family; especially my two little girls, Wyatt & Sawyer!

Hey y’all!
My name is Lizzy. I graduated Ridgewater Community College in 2019 in Early Childhood Education. Waconia has been my hometown for my whole life. I have been at Ladybug since 2017, where I started working as an Aide throughout the building, and worked my way up to becoming a Preschool Teacher in 2020!
In my free time, I enjoy going on hikes with my daughter Aspyn and our dog Zeus. I also love reading books, binge watching Netflix, and napping. I have been working with children for 10+ years and I absolutely love it!

Personal Story:
I started working with children at 15 years old when I started watching my 2 year old niece. Following high school, I attended St. Cloud State and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education.
I started working at Ladybug while in college as an Assistant Teacher in Preschool and was offered the AdventureCentre classroom following graduation.
Outside of work I really enjoy spending time with my two children, Braxton (4) and Jaylynn (2), husband and dog. We enjoy going to Gopher football games, being outside and anything sports related.
