A Message To Our Families Regarding CoronavirusPosted on March 23, 2020 by Ladybug Child Care Center
This is a scary and confusing time. But we’re here for you and we wanted to take the time to write a message to all of our families.
At this time, Ladybug will remain open until further notice. Our top priority is to keep you and your little ones safe and we’re doing everything we can to make sure everybody remains happy and healthy.
Suggestions To Help Stay Safe From The Coronavirus
1) Avoid interacting with others as best as possible. Social distancing is something people should do when they have any contagious illness, whether it’s the coronavirus, the flu, or the common cold. If your child is sick, keep them home.
We understand this is hard for single parents or families where both parents have careers. But if your child has symptoms of coronavirus or any other ailment, it’s important to keep them home to avoid spreading the virus.
2) Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands. We can’t stress this enough. Hygiene is one of the most important things to avoid getting sick. Wash those little hands (and your hands) frequently to get rid of potentially dangerous germs.
3) Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth. This one can be very tough if your little one is still a baby. Especially since they can go from rubbing their nose to rubbing their eyes and mouth all in one motion!
Your child’s most vulnerable places to catch an illness are through their eyes, nose, and mouth. We know it’s not easy, but do your best to keep their hands away from their face.
4) Keep your home clean. Sanitize your countertops, doorknobs, your child’s toys, and any other surfaces that could have harmful germs on them. This is especially true in kitchens where viruses and bacteria could contaminate food.
