Miss Lera, Chaska Nursery Room Teacher
Bachelors in Education, 2 years in the early childhood field
I have always wanted to be a teacher. I taught 7th graders in a specialized English speaking middle school in Russia before moving to the United States in 2008.
I have worked as an Assistant Teacher at a Montessori school where I realized just how much I loved working with children. My goal in life is to help children of all ages develop and grow into bright and successful adults.
My teaching position at Ladybug is a great opportunity for me to fulfill my calling and I could not be happier. I am constantly gaining knowledge and growing as a professional owing thanks to the wonderful Ladybug staff and students.

Miss Anne, Chaska Toddler A Teacher
Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, 13 years of childcare experience
In August of 2008, Ladybug offered me a job and with that came a home and a second family. My son was 4 months old at the time and it was truly a great feeling to know that not only was he here with me but that I knew he was receiving the best care possible.
I personally have learned so many new things and have had the opportunity to work alongside an amazing group of people.
Miss Stephanie, Chaska Proddler Teacher
Bachelors in Elementary Education, 2 years of early childhood experience
I grew up in Iowa and graduated in 2008 from Mayville State University in North Dakota with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. I am happily married and have a 5 ½ year old son who will be in kindergarten soon.
In my spare time I like to crochet, read, spend time with friends and family and try to be crafty. I am inspired to help kids be the best person they can be. My mom is my hero. She worked hard and always had a smile on her face through adversity.
Miss Lisa, Chaska Toddler Assistant Teacher
1 year of early childhood experience
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends, and most importantly my son! We both love being outdoors, playing games and eating.
My inspiration is my love for my son. He inspires me to be better at everything. My personal heroes are my parents; without them I wouldn’t be the fun-loving, outgoing person I am today. Family means the world to me.
I love to laugh and will laugh at just about anything, even horrible jokes. “Live, Laugh, Love” is pretty much what I live my life by.
Miss Jennifer, Chaska Toddler Aide

I am a mother of 2 beautiful girls whom both currently attend Ladybug. I have been in the childcare industry since 2014. Working with kids has been a dream of mine since I was 16.
My biggest inspiration is my children. They make me want to be the best that I can be. My greatest hero is my mother. She has always taught me to be who I am no matter where I am.
As a teacher, I take pride in the opportunities that I am given everyday to provide fun and engaging activities to my class.
Miss Michelle, Vice President
Elementary education and early childhood degree, 23 years in the early childhood field
Both my parents ran family businesses; I grew up knowing I would work for on of my parents. One morning before school my dad asked me if I wanted to work for him or mom. I asked why and he told me that someone offered to buy his company. I said, “I’ll work for mom”.
Sometimes going to work in the family business means doing something you don’t love. I am very lucky. I love what I do. I love working with children and the teaching staff. I have also been able to have my own children with me while having a career I enjoy.
Miss Julie, Accounting Associate
Child Care Specialist Degree, 20 years of early childhood experience
My part time after school job turned into a career I really enjoyed. I started at Ladybug shortly after I graduated college and have loved it ever since. I have held many positions at Ladybug over the years from teaching to management and finally an Accounting Associate.
Miss Katie, Client Services Manager
Bachelors in Elementary Education, Middle School Communication, Arts and Literature, 13 years in the early childhood field
My love for children began at a young age and is still going strong. I began working in the childcare field upon graduating from MSU-Mankato.
Spending time with my daughter made me want the benefits of working with my child. Needless to say I fell in love with my job as an early childhood educator and never went back to the school district.
I am married with two children and love going to Ladybug everyday!
